As you are aware, last year the Parish Council held a consultation over the development of the Open Space on Antron Hill, Mabe. The Council have not been idle in this regard and have passed our plans to Cornwall Council for planning approval in October 2026, these are available on the Cornwall Council planning portal should anyone wish to look at them. This is where the delay has occured, there are a number of conditions that Cornwall Council wish to apply to the site, which are unworkable due to cost. The Parish Council are in consulatation with the respective planning officer to try and resolve these issues and take the project forward. We have received support from our Ward Member in this regard and continue to do so. There is a feeling amongst Cornwall Councillors that this is a worthwhile project and are supporting our efforts. I will provide an update in due course once there is something new to report.
